Description

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: DO NOT IGNORE the shipping instructions below! Due to a large number of claims of non-received items, I am placing restrictions on international shipping. This has become a real problem! DO NOT BID unless you contact me first.

I recently acquired a collection of 400 classic rock LPs. The owner bought them NEW, played them once to tape them, put them in static-free plastic inner sleeves and plastic outer sleeves, and they've been sitting like that for about 25 years. The vinyl is absolutely beautiful, as close to new as you'll find, without even spindle marks around the center hole. The covers are the same. I've never seen a collection like this; included are the collected works of most of the major artists of the rock era, in unbelievable condition. Starting bids at a BARGAIN $2.99 each, with multiple shipping discounts. If you ever wanted to build a pristine record collection, now's your chance! Having finished the progressive rock LPs, there's a lot of classic British and American rock to go, so make sure you check my other listings.

Artist: LED ZEPPELIN
Title: "II"

Vinyl: NEAR MINT
Cover: NEAR MINT

Other:  gatefold

All records graded visually under very strong light. GRADE IS BASED UPON VISUAL INSPECTION; I DON'T HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY THEM. All shipments packed in new, custom record mailers with stiffeners. (I usually do NOT mention the inner sleeve condition unless it's destroyed)

SHIPPING:

US Shipping is via Media Mail. First LP $3.99, includes delivery confirmation.   EACH ADDITIONAL LP is $1.00.  Damage is unlikely in the USA, especially with my professional packing, but DOES HAPPEN! We will discuss arrangements to minimize the risk.  By placing a bid, you are agreeing to these terms. If not acceptable, PLEASE DO NOT BID! I don't play games with shipping cost, such as advertising a $2.77 rate and then charging you for confirmation and handling at invoice time. The rate you see is the rate you pay (plus $1.00 for each add'l LP).

Canada shipping: 1st class $8.00 for first LP, $2.00 each add'l.  Priority is about $22 for 1-3 records, $2 for each additional.

Overseas Shipping:  ALL INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS MUST CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING TO DISCUSS SHIPPING/PAYMENT OPTIONS!
There have been WAY TOO MANY CLAIMS of lost shipments to international locations. If you insist on 1st class shipping, there will be
delays of 6-8 weeks in shipping your item. No exceptions. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMS DUTIES!

FIRST CLASS - Single LPs $15, double LPs $19, each additional record $4. (International buyers contact me before bidding)

PRIORITY       -Combined shipments of  5+ LPs or shipment values over $30 MUST ship Priority Mail. First LP is $31,
additional is approx $2. PRIORITY MAIL PROVIDES INSURANCE AGAINST LOSS OR DAMAGE. IT DOES NOT
PROTECT BUYER OR SELLER IN CASE OF CUSTOMS PROBLEMS.  I WILL NOT
REFUND SHIPPING COSTS IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR CUSTOMS RETURNS THE ITEM! I WILL RE-SHIP                                                                    AT MY EXACT COST, BUT BUYER WILL PAY THAT COST!
This is my contract with you; your bid indicates acceptance of these terms. If not acceptable, DO NOT BID!

IMPORTANT! INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS MUST READ! Shipments to RUSSIA, MEXICO, CENTRAL/SOUTH AMERICA, ITALY, ASIA and EASTERN EUROPE will NOT ship via first class mail. Even though the shipping quote within Ebay to one of these geographies may say "$15.00",  I WILL NOT SHIP TO THESE LOCATIONS VIA FIRST CLASS MAIL! DO NOT send a payment with only first class shipping included...I will NOT accept it, it just wastes everyone's time, and then causes hard feelings.  THERE HAVE BEEN TOO MANY CLAIMS OF NON-RECEIVED AND DAMAGED SHIPMENTS TO THESE GEOGRAPHIES, as well as customs problems in which items were returned for no reason, unclaimed, or duties unpaid. Wait for my invoice! IF NOT ACCEPTABLE, DO NOT BID! YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING!

A note about feedback:  I have never (until buyer "gutteratx1" waited A FULL MONTH to complain about ALL SEVEN records he received, and then waited ANOTHER TWO WEEKS to return just 4 of them, and then left all 7 negatives) received a negative feedback due to the quality or grading of my records, and I'll do my best to maintain that. Grading errors and differences of opinion happen, and if you believe that I have erred in the grading of an item, contact me IMMEDIATELY. I gladly accept returns if not as described with no questions asked. But please don't wait 60 days, then press me for a full-price adjustment...that's not fair.  (Yes, it happens).  As for shipping costs, they are clearly defined and should be dealt with up front. Please don't wait until the auction is over to express concern about shipping costs. Secondly, a couple of overseas buyers have become hostile in reaction to my opening an unpaid item claim after no response and no payment for over a week, and then left negative feedback. Again, unfair. It's simple: I agree to professionally pack and ship within 2 days of payment (and I usually get them out the SAME DAY); I simply ask that buyers pay within 3 days of auction end, and 7 days under special circumstances.  Please...if you don't intend to pay on a timely basis (or at all),  just don't bid. I am very understanding, but please don't abuse the system.  I am a reliable, long-time Ebay seller and will treat you the way I would expect to be treated; with respect, trust, professional packing and quick shipping.

Finally, thanks for all of your business past and future!
