Description

You are bidding on a copy of the original Robert Ludwig ("RL") mastered version of Led Zeppelin II (this copy was produced at the Presswell plant) which if you're reading this you probably know the history of (was originally mastered by Robert Ludwig before being replaced by a watered-down mix because it was causing cheaper turntable needles to skip etc), in my opinion this is an average to slightly above average play copy that I'd grade VG- to VG+ depending on what part of the record is playing (plenty of marks but no skips, with sound crackle in the quieter parts that don't dominate during the louder parts; lastly there is a super slight chip in the deadwax at the beginning that I've attempted to capture in a photo that's purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the play of the album whatsoever), I've posted a video below where I sample various parts of the LP (both quiet and loud portions) so that you have a better idea of the sound quality, the cover is in VG+ condition, no splits and no writing and the inner sleeve is VG+ with a 2 inch or so split at the bottom but no tears and no writing (record will be placed in a separate white inner sleeve). Dead wax Side 1: ST A 691671 B LWP AT RL W Dead wax Side 2: ST A 691672 A LWP AT RL SS W (I couldn't capture the dead wax etchings properly in pictures but it has RL etched on both sides and the small amount of dead wax on Side 2 is also a dead giveaway of an RL pressing)
It will be packed in a cardboard mailer and sent via USPS Priority Mail Insured with tracking.
