This being the 1st UK pressing 2nd label credit variation with 'Livin' Lovin' Maid' on side two. Features the plum\red Atlantic labels featuring the 'The Lemon Song' credit on side one. The audio is absolutely clear and vibrant throughout, without any distortion or signs that this has been over played at all, there are no skips or jumps and I found this a fantastic listen. This is complete with the original inner poly lined sleeve and original, earliest 'Light brown' E.Day & Co Gatefold cover with the blue / green spine which only the very first few were released, it does have some general light wear with age, but still a very good copy for anyone’s collection.

1st UK pressing early matrix and mother stampers, very collectable and highly sought after!

VIRTUALLY MINT AUDIO ABSOLUTELY SUPERB WITH A VIRTUAL MARK FREE VINYL HOUSED IN A FANTASTIC FIRST PRESS BLUE/GREEN EDGE LIGHT BROWN COVER.

Vinyl:

The vinyl is superb, it retains its new shiny look. It lies perfectly flat on the turntable. This record has only ever had a handful of plays; it has absolutely superb audio reaching every note, NO distortion ANYWHERE; it’s fantastic, goes without saying that there are NO skips, NO jumps, NO crackle or anything else. There are the usual sleeve removal wispy line that accompanies virtually all vinyl. There is only one slightly noticeable mark on side one, this has no effect on the audio (which is superb) I have taken a photo so you can see it.

pic below shows the only noticeable scuff mark, it has no effect with the audio. (in centre)

Labels:

The labels are the superb red/plum, with “Under licence from Atlantic Recording Corp.,U.S.A” above the centre white line.

It has the Lemon Song listed on side one instead of the later Killin’ Floor, the very first label also had Livin’ Lovin’ Wreck (She’s a woman) then changed to Livin’ Lovin’ Maid (She’s a woman) as with this one, then changed again to Livin’ Lovin’ Maid (She’s just a woman).

These first press labels have “Produced by Jimmy Page” at the bottom of the label with “Copyright Control” underneath.

Sleeve:

This sleeve is fantastic, it is the very rare light brown cover with a blue/green spine and edge (see photo), for one of these it really is in an amazing condition with only minimal edge wear, the text on the spine is fully readable. This gatefold cover is free from any sort of graffiti or any bad marks, it is slightly grubby on the white area on the back. See the pictures

Inner sleeve;

This is the original ‘Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous’ is in an excellent condition as the vinyl has been kept separate in a new poly lined sleeve.

Records will be sent in a strong album mailer with stiffeners, and with the record separate to the album sleeve, inside a plastic cover.

GRADING

All my records are graded using the

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide

MINT:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks
or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played,
but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times,
but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,
without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:
The record has been played so much
that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated,
perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding,
scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:
The record is still just playable but it has not been cared for properly 
and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. 
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
