This is the early UK press of Led Zeppelin II. This press is complete with the 'Lemon Song' credit and the early A2/B5 matrix. It is pressed on the original plum Atlantic label and is complete with the rare wide spine light brown EJ Day gatefold sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The heavy vinyl has a sensational high gloss, with just a few very light hairline marks on both sides. When played the sound is exceptionally bold, rich and vibrant. There are a couple of moments of noise but these are insignificant, it sounds superb. The plum and red labels are completely clean with bold text and bright colours. There is NO spindle wear, just a couple of very light spider marks.
The rare wide spine gatefold EJ Day sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. The brown and white are still bright and it is extremely clean. There is some light edge wear and a tiny price scuff in the corner. The inside is bright and unworn. The whole cover is still solid, the heavy spine is still firm and the images are sharp.
