This is an absolutely incredible copy of the 1969 first US pressing LP of Led Zeppelin II on Atlantic SD-8236. Terre Haute pressing, with CTH on the label matrix and in runoff etching. Gold Record sticker on the cover but this is not a repress or even slightly later pressing. It is the very first Issue. This is not a Ludwig mastering. That is all myth anyway, as there are about a dozen different Ludwig masters, and only one of them is actually the "hot" mix people talk about. In my humble opinion plenty of the other masters sound amazing; the fact is this album sounds amazing because it IS amazing and was recorded with amazing sound, whatever the mastering may do. This one is absolutely incredible sounding. I truly have never ever seen a better original copy anywhere. The disc looks to have been barely touched, and plays completely flawlessly and just beautifully. You wouldn't believe it... the cover is also nearly immaculate, the best original cover I have ever encountered. No ringwear at all! And no edgewear. All crisp and clean edges and corners... Also comes with the original Atlantic inner, which is the early 1968-69 one, before there were any rock acts on Atlantic (only on Atco). This is truly a top, top original copy, near impossible to beat.
