Description
Led Zeppelin 2-Original 1st UK issue from 1969 on Atlantic 588 198 plum/red label and A2B2 matrix.
This is the really rare first issue with Living Loving Wreck on the label instead of Living Loving Maid.
In addition it also has the Lemon Song miscredit.
This is one very rare item as only the very first batch had this miscredit(LLWreck)before it was noticed and
changed.You only have to see how many of these appear for sale, compared to the 1st LP with the
turquoise lettering that has increased rapidly in price,and you will see that these are far fewer in number.
Hardly surprising as far fewer of these exist compared to the 1st LP mentioned.
Anyway this one is in excellent condition-the original light brown gatefold cover has retained that strong
feel of a new cover.There are some minimal signs of age like small losses on the edges and some ring
wear on the rear cover-this is all on the outer sleeve but otherwise it remains fine and totally clean and clear of
any writing/tears etc.The inner gatefold is still as new.Grades around EX-/VG+.
The disc is also excellent.Even under lamp light I can only see one small mark and the tiniest bit of spindle play.
Labels are clean and this disc is one top condition item.Grades around EX+.
A rare chance to get arguably the rarest of standard UK Zeppelin LPs.
