LED ZEPPELIN 1 (TURQUOISE COVER)

Welcome to my auction for this extremely rare piece of rock music history, the first uk vinyl pressing of the Led Zeppelin 1 album.

This is a 100% original and genuine item, released in 1969 with the rare turquoise writing on the front cover and the red and maroon atlantic labels on the record itself. It's matrix no's are 588171 A//1 & B//1, the Atlantic catalogue number is 588171. The record is stereo.

Album's condition, specific details...

This album was played on my Dansette in 1969 but has not been played since (mainly due to the release of Led Zep 2!)
The record is in reasonable condition (not mint condition i'll make that quite clear to you), as I think you would expect with vinyl of it's age.
It has no major marks or scratches that affect playback though.
The side edge of the cover still has 'LED ZEPPELIN & ATLANTIC 588171' perfectly clearly and undamaged.
The other three edges of the cover also have no major damage, with just the tips of the corners being slightly rounded and worn. These are due to it not being kept in protective plastic for many years.
On the front side of the cover, half way down, it has a small 1 inch mark horizontally in the laminated surface. This mark does not go through to the actual cardboard and is only just noticable in the pictures below.
The back sleeve has no marks or damage.
The label for side A of the record is flawless.
The label for side B of the record does have my initials penned in at the top, but this doesn't obscure the matrix number at all.
The record has no spindle wear damage, probably due to the fact that it hasn't been played all that much.

I will send the album to you secured in professional standard packaging (i.e. boxed, wrapped in tissue paper then surrounded in bubble wrap, with cardboard inlays on either side) and posted via royal mail 'next day special delivery service' (£3.60 - buyer pays postage)
