LED ZEPPELIN 1
This LP was bought by myself from new when I was a student and well cared for since. It went into store in the early eighties and kept vertical in a dry environment when I converted to CDs and only brought out of store in 2000 when I rekindled my interest in vinyl. It has always been played on top quality turntables. - Thorens TD150 plus matching arm and Shure M75EJ , Transcriptors Saturn plus Saturn Unipivot arm and Shure V15 and J A Michell Prisma plus SME 3009 tonearm and Shure V15.
It plays very well. There are a few pressing pops and squeeks, just what the manufacturer was kind enough to add and some crackling on the run-in.
The sleeve has always been kept in a plastic outer so is in very nice condition apart from a slight discolouration at the opening edge due to handling and ageing of the card.
The disc is in excellent condition.
This is a first pressing 588171 A//1, B//1
The label error is the rare repeated track 3 attribution on side 1.
There are signs of rubbing on the labels but very minor.
