Authentic Italo business straight from 1982... "The Garden" and "Robot Is Systematic" were the only two productions Franco Rago, Gianluigi Farina and Xenia Monneret made as Lectric Workers. Which is a real shame; both these cuts still strut with distinction and leave you screaming for more. "Robot Is Systematic" was issued as one of the very first releases on Viewlexx back in 2000, so it's nice to see it here backing up "The Garden". The music of Lectric Workers is riddled with angular quirky funkiness and an infectious sing-along hookiness, and their fusion of Italian post disco showmanship and British lyrical dexterity commands the ultimate salute now, just as it did 32 years ago.
