Description

Leaf Hound: same 1978, USA/Discwasher Recordings SLE 14604-TP396. Disc is in nice EX shape with a few light hairlines, plays as a M- copy. Cover has some sort of clear glue residue around the seams for no particular reason, a few creases, this is VG. There's a lot of confusion about this LP, like "is it real or what the hell is it?" Well, here's my take: This LP fits into the same bag as "Hillow Hammit" on L&BJ Records, or Charlee on Mind Dust Records, or "Eldeberry Jak" on Forrest Records... it was really pressed back in 1978 but Decca knew nothing about it. The source is clearly the Germany/Telefunken vinyl, then they added the two extra cuts from the Decca LP (hissy, sounds like a cassette source), and the non-LP 45 side "It's Gonna Get Better" from vinyl so you get everything they recorded on this LP. This is a very rare edition, probably put together by a fan of the group to sell through a local record shop in the midwest somewhere (label says Columbia, Missouri) so it deserves your attention despite its questionable heritage.
