Description

This is a very rare early pressing (second issue) copy of the excellent LA VERN LP by LAVERN BAKER on Atlantic Records (8002, Mono, Atlantic red/plum "black fan" label) from 1963.  A fantastic R&B/soul record from this legendary artist.  The vinyl is in VG- condition with some visible surface marks and wear and some lightly audible surface noise (light crackle); not for the most demanding audiophiles, but a perfectly enjoyable copy with that "old jazz record" sound.  The cover is in VG+ condition with a few minor scuffs and dings and a tiny pinhole punch through the top right corner, as pictured.  Don't pass up a gem like this!
