LP is in Near Mint condition.
The thick lustrous vinyl is nearly flawless, without scuffs, or scratches of any kind. There a few inaudible sleeve marks only.

The fidelity is superb,with no distortion, pops, clicks,or background noise of any kind.


Jacket is in NM/EX+ condition. Original heavy and glossy jacket is in vert nice condition. There are virtually no marks, scuffs, or blemishes of any kind.There is however light seam, and corner wear, as in image. Ever since Jimmy Smith made it big in 1956, organists have been heavily influenced by him and only a few have developed their own distinctive voices. Larry Young, while not immune to Smith's influence in his early days, eventually broke away and featured his organ in much more advanced settings. His 1965 Blue Note Lp Unity is considered Larry Young's greatest recording. Teamed with Woody Shaw, Joe Henderson and Elvin Jones, Young sounds unlike anyone else, showing how the organ could adapt itself to postbop settings. Whether it be "Monk's Dream" and "Softly, As In A Morning Sunrise" or Woody Shaw's "The Moontrane," the performances throughout Unity are consistently brilliant. While his other recordings are quite worthy, Unity is the most essential Larry Young Lp.
