Description
For many fans of the Sunset Strip era, Cocked & Loaded is the album where L.A. Guns truly hit their stride. Released in 1989, it delivered hard rock staples like “Rip and Tear,” “Never Enough,” and the band’s biggest hit, “The Ballad of Jayne,” helping propel the album to Gold certification and cementing its place among the essential glam and hard rock records of the era.
This is an original 1989 Canadian RCA Music Club pressing on Vertigo Records—a scarcer club edition produced in comparatively smaller quantities than standard retail copies, making it an appealing variant for collectors looking beyond the common commercial release.
Condition
* Original 1989 Canadian RCA Music Club pressing
* Vertigo Records
* Vinyl: VG++ — exceptionally clean with excellent gloss and only light signs of careful handling.
* Jacket: G+ — structurally intact but shows noticeable cosmetic wear, including paper loss on the back cover and general shelf wear. Please review all photos for an accurate representation of condition.
* Housed in a new archival anti-static inner sleeve.
Finding a clean-playing original club pressing is becoming increasingly difficult, especially as more collectors revisit the late-‘80s hard rock catalog. While the jacket shows its years, the record itself remains the star and offers an excellent opportunity to own a harder-to-find pressing of one of L.A. Guns’ defining albums.
There are always a few surprises tucked into the racks here, so have a look around—you never know what original pressing or forgotten classic you’ll discover next.
