Kuldip Manak - Manak & Party In England LP Vinyl Record UK 1ST 1982
Seminal Punjabi album. Sounds magnificent. It is said to be one of 100 pressed. This record was found in a large collection of old shop stock from the 80s. The records were stored for some 40 years. Some of them were stored in a cellar in waterproof casings but a small portion of the sleeves became water damaged. This is one of those. You can also see that the label on the record started to peel off because of this. But overall it has survived well and it cleaned up nice as was protected by a plastic inner and outer sleeve. The record plays extremely well and now lives in a high-quality polylined inner sleeve.
Copies of this record recently sold on ebay for £1270 and £1019. Our copy has a couple of tiny pressing marks and one small hairline, but looks and sounds NM. Don't be fooled by the damage to the artwork this is an excellent record [see photos].
