Description

Kreed, self titled release on Visions of Sound 71-56 from 1971.  One of the rarest records in Rock history, this band was a group of junior high kids at St. James School in Faribault Minnesota.  This copy is in great shape.

The jacket grades as VG+.  There is no writing or ring wear and no seam splits.  There is a tiny bit of wear on the top and bottom seam but it hasn't worn through.  The spine of the jacket has a few krinkles which you can feel when you run your hand along it but isn't noticeable to the eye unless you look for it.  There is a little bit of moisture damage on the back near the bottom right corner.  I've posted a picture of it, it's a little hard to see in the picture but it's also a little hard to see when you have the jacket in your hand.

The record is overall in VG+ condition.  Side one looks tremendous, no scratches or fingerprints, just a little paper scuffing.  Side two is a good news/bad news scenario.  The bad news is that there are two scratches on it.  The first one is about a half an inch long are runs from the middle of the first song into the middle of the second.  It's strictly a surface scratch and cannot be felt with your finger.  The second scratch looks bad and runs from the middle of song two into the middle of song 3. This scratch can be felt with your finger.  The good news is that the record plays fine.  I tried it on two turntables, my own and at a local record store (I had to show this off a little bit) and it played without any noise.

Taken together this is a mighty fine copy of an extremely hard to find record.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via e-mail.  There is no reserve on this auction.  I will not be ending this auction early, please don't bother asking.
