Description

      Here's a very nice copy of Klaatu's LP titled "Klaatu" on Capitol Records ST-11542 from 1976.
    When this LP was released, many DJ's and record buyers were convinced that The Beatles had reformed and called themselves Klaatu. Some of the reasons: there was a resemblance to the Beatles sound, no photos of the group appeared on their record covers, there were no composing credits other than "Klaatu" and the group never made any personal appearances to promote their music. People thought the real Beatles were hiding behind this new name.
   The resemblance of the Beatles sound was just a coincidence and Klaatu turned out to be a progressive Canadian rock band and they had several hits both in the U.S. and in Canada.
   The vinyl plays Near Mint and the cover is in Near Mint condition.
