Description
Kiss - The Originals 3 LP Set w/ Booklet & Sticker 1976 on Casablanca Original inserts, booklet, and sticker in excellent condition. Vinyl is NM Near Mint Condition except Record 3 Side 1 VG+ Cover is Good condition with repairs (see photos) taped edges to keep from tearing. Album comes with plastic album cover.
All albums are inspected and cleaned and repaired if needed to look as new as possible. I use a form of the Goldmine Rating System for the vinyl and covers:
Mint = Sealed or perfect condition as when first opened, high shine & gloss, no staining or imperfections unless made through factory. Some sealed albums cannot be guaranteed when opened (some unsealed vinyl can have imperfections). Album cover still sealed wrap still in perfect condition as well as cover with no wear or bending.
NM – Near Mint = very light imperfections, 1 or 2 hairline scratches, light scuffing or light staining in a few spots, high shine & gloss.
VG+ - Very Good + = not as high of shine and gloss, staining and smudges OK. Some light scratches or countable light scratches OK.
VG – Very Good = light scratches throughout or uncountable, damaged label, light warping and staining OK. Usually lost its luster and sheen (would never place on ebay).
VG – Very Good - = deeper scratches or warping that could affect play of all tracs (would never place on ebay).
Sound Grading - Number Rating System 1 to 10 (10 is perfect sound quality)
Some of the Grades have numbers next to the grade that represents the sound quality.
· 9 = 1 or 2 light disturbances, no static between tracs
· 8 = 2 or more light disturbances, possible light static between tracs that are barely noticeable.
· 7 = light background static during and between tracs, still a good sounding album (probably would never sell on ebay.
· 6 = noticeable scratches in music background that can over take some tracs and/or possible light warping (would never sell on ebay).
Cover Grading
Mint – perfect condition with no visible damage, staining, or repairs.
NM – Near Mint can have very light damage, usually ringware, staining, or tearing on corners or from factory. Cover doesn’t need shrinkwrap but usually does. Light repairs OK if not noticeable.
Good – Good condition does show a little damage, such as staining or tearing and could have noticeable repairs.
Acceptable – noticeable damage and stains with or without repairs.
Poor – Cover and inserts show lots of damage from discoloration or obvious repairs (would never sell on ebay).
