To me, The Kinks are one of the finest pop bands ever to come out of England and the songwriting talents of the Davis brothers is magnificent. However, on this, their very first release, they chose to cover a 'Bumps Blackwell / Enortis Jonnson' rhythm and blues number "Long Tall Sally" but Ray did pen the excellent B-side "I took my baby home"

This, their debut release, of course predates their hits by some time. It was recorded on the 24th January 1964 and is extremely desirable for all 1960s Beat Group collectors particularly since it is literally, where it all began for the Kinks.

What is so totally amazing about this record we are offering is that is has been fully autographed by the original line-up: Ray Davis, Dave Davis, Pete Quaife and Mick Avory (who has signed "Mick Kinks!). Our research confirms that these signatures date from the time or release.

The signatures are extremely clear on a virtually unmarked label. The playing surface is also in very good condition but this is really irrelevant, it is the autographs that makes this, almost certainly, unique.
