Overview
This listing is for a pre-owned copy of Infest the Rats Nest by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. It is the "Rat's Nest" Orange with Red and Gold Splatter edition, which was limited to 2000 copies. It is pressed on 160 gram 12" 33rpm vinyl. It comes with its original gatefold sleeve, inner sleeve, 24" x 36" poster, 4" iron on embroidered patch, download code, and eco paper bag sleeve. The inner sleeve is a glossy paper, which is not bad. I have added a soft plastic sleeve for some extra protection. This download code is on a 1" x 2" card with a bandcamp link. I already used it back in 2019, so it is likely expired.
Condition
The record is in very good condition. There are a couple small scratches on the non-playable area near the label on either side. But nothing in the playable area. The gatefold has some striations to the material on the front and back. Just an artifact of the printing process. The inner sleeve and poster are both made of glossy paper and both have some minor bends on the surface. Didn't have the space to photograph the full poster unfolded. But it is a large image of the cover of the album. The embroidered patch also has a small bend on the surface, but generally in great shape. The brown paper sleeve has some minor wear around the corners and edges. The sound is very good. I maintain this with a regular record brush before and after each play.
Amazing thrash metal album, and easily the best looking press.
