One of the earliest SUN outtake LPs ever! Listen, as it happened, to the actual invention of Rock-A-Billy/Rock n Roll, for Yourself! Adorned by black-and-white photos of "The King" and "The Killer" (Jerry Lee Lewis). Graphic "neon" design gives the album a 50's-style "retro" feel. The flip side is greatly done with a selection of black-and-white photos of Elvis, Jerry Lee, Bill Black and Sam Phillips, among others. Next to the tracklistings are plenty of liner notes to tell the story of the SUN label and its impact on early Rock & Roll. Side A contains many unreleased Elvis songs, while Side B is devoted to "Killer" Jerry Lee Lewis, Billy Lee Riley and Warren Smith, including an intriguing exchange between Jerry Lee and Sam Phillips. The historical insight of this album is exceeded only by it rarity (only 500 copies were pressed!!)
