King Crimson - The Court Of the Crimson King - Island ILPS 9111 - pink label original - A2/B2 matrixes. One of the cornerstones of progressive rock, this 1969 masterpiece is essential listening for all rock fans. From the brain-storming opener "21st Century Schizoid Man" to the mellotron-monster final track "The Court Of the Crimson King" this is a trip that everyone should take. This copy is in beautiful condition. The vinyl is shiny and free of any marks and it plays great. The gatefold cover is also in pristine condition which is very rare as most show evidence of ring wear and/or edge wear. This copy was kept in a heavy duty plastic sleeve and it shows. For anyone looking to archive a copy of this seminal album you could do far, far worse. A rare chance to acquire a crucial album which is SO rare in this sort of pristine condition. The reserve is £300 which is very low for an album which has often sold for over £1000 in this condition.
