Description

Kiki Gyan - Keep on dancing Nigeria disco funk 12 inch

Kiki Gyan - Keep on dancing / 24 hours in a disco 12 inch Boom records BSP 4501 Nigeria 1979
Two sides of this club dj weapon with devastating disco funk anthems by Kiki Gyan. There's another version of this 12 inch that was released in UK with a different a-side; that one only contains '24 hours in a disco' and the instrumental and it was released under the name of 'Kofi & Kiki' since Osibisa's Kofi Ayivor is also on it!
However, 'Keep on dancing' is the track to look out for. Also, this mix is a few minutes longer than the album version!
Side A Keep on dancing
Side B 24 hours in a disco

Grading: Vinyl: VG (towards VG+ but mild static/crackle, very loud press though, 12 inch!) Sleeve: G (only the front of the sleeve remains with a bit of the side torn, see pic)
Disclaimer on condition: This record is part of a box of vinyl that has spent the past three decades in the humid and hot climate of Nigeria, and storage for many of these records typically has been less than careful. To find a mint condition Nigerian record is very hard, VG+ is often the best grade, and for the rarest copies we may be lucky to even find a VG- copy. To be sure that you're fine with the condition of the album, make sure you listen to the snippets.
Payment: Buyer is expected to pay through Paypal within seven days after auction is over, or I will have to cancel the sale and report to Ebay.
ATTENTION PLEASE - SHIPPING COSTS ARE AS FOLLOWS; The shipping of this record to the USA is NOT 4 U$ (which is merely a Ebay default that doesn't take into account sellers from abroad) since I am shipping from the Netherlands. If you bid on this record, please be ready to pay for the actual postage cost as described below. All items are shipped in heavy duty cardboard mailers.
Priority Shipping: Europe 10 U$, international (including USA) 16 U$, Netherlands 8 U$ Registered mail: If the record sells for over 100 U$ I only ship through registered mail / insured where available; (Europe 18 U$, world 23 U$)
Shipping to France and Italy ONLY by registered mail. Combined Shipping: if you win multiple items, I can combine shipping. Please contact me if you need a quote.
THE SHIPPING RULES - PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING By bidding on this item, you agree that I won't be responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the mail. In all my ebay time, I have never had a package lost and only once did an LP break but if you want to be 100% sure you may opt to have the record sent through registered mail at a little extra cost.
To prevent fraud, I will only ship to the address provided in your Paypal payment. If you want to ship to a different address, please change it in your Paypal settings before you pay. Also, I reserve the right to cancel any bids, for example from buyers who have given me problems before, including those who left me with a Paypal chargeback because their records took a while to arrive.
Any questions? Send me a message!
Browse my other items and look for a fat stack of West African / Nigerian / Ghanaian disco / boogie / funk / modern soul albums which I am posting this week... think Charles Amoah, William Onyeabor, Pat Thomas and other relatives of Oby Onyioah, Veno, Brakes, Xtasy, you know the drill.

Please wait for me to send an invoice with the total amount for your order. US bidders make sure you don't check out with the U$4 shipping option because shipping to US is more expensive.
