Description
Kid Rock - Fire It Up (1993)
This is the lightly used 7" record, featuring the songs "I Am The Bullgod" on side 1 and "My Oedipus Complex" on side 2. This was the last release by Kid Rock on Continuum Records (who also released his first 2 albums, "Grits For Breakfast" and "The Polyfuze Method"). These songs showcased Kid Rock's more rock-oriented style, but never got much airplay because there was too much rapping for rock radio to play at the time. (I believe this was a release aimed at radio stations in 1993, which was then followed by the full 6 song EP in 1994.)
The paper slipcase is in good condition, with some wear marks from the record impression. There is slight loss of pigment on the front and back covers, mostly around the areas around the edge of the record, as well as around the edge of the record label itself (it's a very thick label). The disc itself is in very good condition, with no visible blemishes that I can see. The label has some very slight loss of pigment marks around the central hub, possibly from the manufacture process.
Every serious Kid Rock collector needs this album. It was a special limited edition pressing on orange vinyl, and since Kid Rock wasn't a household name when this was released, there's not many of these records to be had.
All my albums are sold as-is. I try to represent the albums in as much detail as I can, but I'm not an expert. I also do not have a turntable to test the records for any playability issues. (If I did have a turntable, I probably wouldn't be selling my record collection at all.) The most I can say is that all of my records played fine the last time I listened to them.
I ship within the United States only.
