Description
Blue Note Records BLP-1524 - Kenny Dorham - 'Round About Midnight At The Cafe Bohemia. This is an original first pressing with the deep groove indentation under both labels. The record has a flat edge. The address on the labels is Blue Note Records 767 Lexington Ave NYC. The ear symbol and the hand written initials RVG are in the dead wax on both sides of the record. The record is in VG condition, it has been played and shows some wear. Play grading is VG+, it sounds great; an occassional crackling can be heard, nothing even close to overwhelming. The cover is VG, there is writing on the back. There is heavy wear to the bottom seam, it is not split; top seam and spine show light to medium wear. There is a one inch split at the leading edge of the top seam. Appoximately 2 inchs of the spine have a crack in the paper but the spine is not split. The address on the back cover is Blue Note Records 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21. Personnel is Kenny Dorham, trumpet; J.R. Monterose, tenor sax; Kenny Burrell, guitar; Bobby Timmons, piano; Sam Jones, bass; Arthur Edgehill, drums.
