Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Kenny Dorham “’Round About Midnight at the Café Bohemia” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 1524. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition with a beautiful luster; a small mark in the middle of the first track on Side 1 makes three low-level tics. The coated Lexington Ave. frame cover is in extraordinary near-new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate in every respect - with sharp corners and unworn seams; 1/8” bump at the lower right corner; warping along the opening. Personnel include J.R. Monterose, Kenny Burrell, Bobby Timmons, Sam Jones, and Arthur Edgehill. $750.00.
