Description
This is a first issue of the album with the classic Andy Warhol cover; BLUE NOTE 1596 ... Original mono Deep Groove 1958 pressing, with 47 West 63rd St address on center labels and bottom of back cover, Deep groove on both sides, "ear" and RVG in dead wax. Cover is in excellent condition with no tears or bends. There are minor corner dings. There are no marks on the jacket .The jacket shows a few signs of age .Please see all pictures . The condition of the vinyl is used. Side 1 has many visible surface marks but nothing that disturbs the needle. Side 2 is similar except for 1 scratch at the end of side 2 that has an audible click. The record has been carefully stored away for decades and I just test played it on a new Ortofon needle. There is some surface noise and some of it is the usual noise associated with the age of this vintage recording along with some light crackle. The fidelity was amazingly bright and clear. All things considered it still has lots of life and and gives an enjoyable play.

All items are packed securely in new record mailers with bubble wrap. The Record and jacket are separated in 3mil protective outer sleeves. The package is tight and cornered to avoid damage during transport.
