Kate Bush This Woman's Work 1978-1990 (official EMI release). Nine Vinyl LPs in a Limited Edition Box Set. Very rare collector's item. Box in VG condition, contents in mint condition. Totally gorgeous.
The collection is housed in a 12" box, black outside and red inside. Once the lid is removed, the top panel of the inner box hinges open, as seen in the sixth photo.
The box contains Kate's first six albums and three additional 12" vinyl LPs ('This Woman's Work' Volumes 1, 2 and 3) that were pressed exclusively for this boxed set edition.
In addition to the nine LPs, the box contains a gorgeous 28 page glossy booklet with full colour photos on each page and, at the back, short liner notes and thanks from Kate (fifth photo). There is also a set of 12 stickers in various colours (eighth photo), each showing the 'This Woman's Work' version of the KT logo.
The Kick Inside, Lionheart, Never for Ever, The Dreaming, Hounds of Love and The Sensual World albums are presumably drawn from 1990 stock, as the Lionheart album has the 'Fame' edition logo.
The condition of everything inside the box is as it left the factory: the LP sleeves and the booklet are immaculate, and the vinyl is pristine, having never been played.
The box has some scuffing on the bottom (ninth photo) and on the rear (tenth photo); the latter would certainly be easy to mitigate or conceal all together. There is a small area on the bottom-left area of the box lid, and an even smaller area at the top left, where the finish is not quite perfect (eleventh photo); this slight flaws are common to these boxed set editions.
