Description

Kako, Totico y el Trabuco   Gema Records LP cat# LPGS 3099 (1973) with guests  Arsenio Rodriguez ?, Carlos "Patato" Valdés & Chivirico Davila among other NYC stand out Latin musicians.
This is the 1984 second pressing of the 1973 release. It is the final release by the original Gema Records before the Guedes brothers sold the label. it has the purple and violet label without the customary gemstone logo. Manufactured in Puerto Rico. The 1973 release contains a few tracks recorded a few years before, word on the street is that the tresero is Arsenio Rodriguez while there's no doubt that it's Patato on congas. Al Santiago of Alegre Records those few tracks while the others songs on the LP are under the direction of Tite Curet Alonso.
Vinyl  VG+,  label has some fading on both sides, it was that way upon opening LP, no spindle damage or markings, heavy vinyl
Cara A    La Máquina y el Motor      Asi se Baila     Oye Mora Linda    Los Barrios Unidos      Oye Los Tambores
Cara B    Para Ya,  Bandolera     Parece que esta Lloviendo    Cabio Sile   Atencion Señores     El Trabuco Special
Jacket: very good, i would rate excellent if it wasn't for the several green ink pen written notes on back cover by yours truly, see foto both front and back cover show some rub wear
Some of these tracks maybe on youtoob for you to sample
Photos seen were taken with my cell camera, not the highest resolution, it's the actual LP but due to the new ebay size policy for photos, I had to enlarge images making them slightly distorted. I also enhanced the contrast to easily see rub wear and pen writing.

As a life long record collector, I protect and pack records very well before shipping using a traditional cardboard LP mailer
