KYTES: Running In The Water c/w End Of The Day. Island pink label UK orig. WIP 6027. 1968
First of all, as I'm sure you know, 'Running In The Water' is a classic example of UK psychedelia. Secondly, I have to say that this copy is not in great condition. I try to sell only items that are in decent shape, but occasionally I find something so good that I'll offer it for sale even if it's not up to my usual condition standard. This copy plays okay, it doesn't jump or skip, but there are a lot of surface marks and some of them are quite audible. In fact, the B side is actually the worse of the 2 sides, which is handy, as it's nowhere near as good musically as the A side. So what shall I say? I guess I'd grade it G-. I reckon it's definitely worth having till a better copy turns up. So a reasonable start price and no reserve.
