RARE original US first pressing of Kronos Quartet`s debut album "In Formation" on Reference Recordings (1982).
Recorded in St. Mary`s Cathedral, San Francisco in 1979, "In Formation" was Kronos Quartet`s first studio recording under their own name. "In imaging, transient accuracy and timbre, one of the finest string quartet discs ever issued." (Joel Flegler in Fanfare Magazine, 1984).
