Description
For auction is a mint minus mint copy of Reference Recordings RRF9, the Kronos Quartet playing their album In Formation. This album is in mint minus condition. The cover, original sleeve are clean, shiny, and appear new. The LP itself looks unplayed. This is a famous recording that is on the Absolute Sound Super Disc list. It is a fun and unique recording, with outstanding sonics. The music on this album is progressive and the original owner was somewhat conservative in his musical tastes, so I doubt this album was played more than a few times, hence it's superb condition. Note that this is a 45 rpm recording.
This album comes from the collection of an elderly audiophile in my family. This set has been in storage for the last 15 years and was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 before that. The owner of this set took meticulous care of all his albums and that is reflected in the condition of this album. The collection from which I am selling this set is over 1300 albums and I have sold roughly 600 to date (to private parties, no via ebay) , without a single complaint. Indeed, the purchasers of this collection has thus far been delighted with these albums. I rate albums conservatively and do not remotely exaggerate their condition
I have played this set on my Rega turntable and it is sonically excellent, having only the normal surface noise that all vinyl albums have. I am very conservative in my ratings of albums and do not sell any albums with any marks, flaws, scratches, or significant issues on the actual LP. I am a fellow music lover, not a professional record seller, and I am selling these albums simply because I either own multiple copies or don't have a passion for this particular piece of music.

I pack carefully and ship fast. I ship albums in special LP shipping cartons. I will combine shipping costs.
Flat shipping in the US is $4 via US Media Mail. Shipping to other countries is the actual cost of shipping along with a $1 fee to cover the cost of the shipping carton and packing supplies. I absorb the cost of insurance on any album over $50.
Payment is via Paypal only. I expect payment within 12 hours of the completion of an auction and will offer items to secondary bidders if payment is not received within 24 hours. I use Paypal because it speeds transactions and allows me to ship quickly.
Note for International Buyers: I ship only to countries specified. I always report items accurately on customs paperwork. I will make every effort to combine shipping costs for buyers of multiple items. I will ship to you cheaply and efficiently as possible. Thank you.
