Virus were a psychedelic band originating from Bielefeld in Northern Germany. Their music incorporates Pink Floyd's space rock, heavy keyboards somewhat reminiscent of Deep Purple all put together into long songs filled with jams. They released only two albums -- "Revelation" (1970) and "Thoughts" (1971). The album was recorded in Star Studios, Hamburg and produced by Konrad Plank. The Virus lineup for the first album is: Werner Monka (guitar), Jorg-Dieter Krahe (organ), Bernd "Molle" Hohmann (vocals, flute), Reinhold Spiegelfeld (bass) and Wolfgang Rieke (drums). 

"Revelation" starts as a straight forward psychedelic track and develops as the song conines forward. Towards the middle of the song comes in a cover of the Rolling Stones song -- Paint It Black. Another homage is found in the second song where at the end you can hear a Saucerful Of Secrets choir bit. This album is very inventive and contains surprises along the different tracks. These songs have long guitar playing parts and exciting organ playing, both demonstrating very good musicianship.

we downgrade to your satisfaction to a total NEAR MINT- to EXCELLENT, I have found one two ultra fine angel hairlines under light, a few very quite tic tics in few quite passages, do not overtone the performance,...fewest ever if you search for - usual paper sleeve angel hairlines from jacket remove.few quite tic tics from dust - not overtone the performance!
better before playing needs a cleaning!

you can clean the record yourself for better sound- some vinyl collectors prefer a professional cleaning
with a record washing machine and using their own one

cover: EXCELLENT, soft edge wear at outer edges from shelf,... looks great - back spine great almost 98% perfect!BASF INNER SLEEVE looks still nice with minimal wear at top opener and two short tears at middle hole die cut,...very mild knitwear, one side at mid with a mild split from sharp vinyl - see pictures,we will replace this INNER for a smooth fitted inner sleeve and add to the LP Cover inside, we replace Vinyl from jacket for shipping to avoid splits!

M (MINT):
Record: In perfect condition with no audible or visible defects.
Cover/Sleeve: In as new condition with no marks or signs of aging.
NM (NEAR MINT):
Record: Almost mint, but may have very few barely visible marks on the playing surface. The sound quality remains perfect.
Cover/Sleeve: Some visible minor marks or slight signs of use. No bends, creases, folds, writing a.s.o.
EX (EXCELLENT):
Record: Not quite perfect. Minor marks can cause some minor deterioration in sound quality. Spindle marks. Some ticks can
be audible. Details are indicated.
Cover/Sleeve: Slight signs of wear. Slight creasing, scuffs, knocked corners a.s.o.
VG (VERY GOOD):
Record: The surface shows visible signs of wear. Different marks will be present and sound. Details are indicated.
