Rare 3LP Sampler for the Brain Label (released: 1974 cat. Brain3/1046) released with the green BRAIN labels.
Subtitled "German Rock Scene" musically it ranges from the distinctive German take on UK Progressive Rock through more Jazz influenced Psychedelia, onto straight out avante-garde and frankly experimental pieces such as Cluster's contribution and tracks such as Hallogallo by Neu! - which founded the reputation of the label at the forefront of the German musical landscape in the early 70's. Rarely seen, a great compilation which possibly gives as full a spectrum of the erstwhile Deutschrock scene as is possible in a one label collection such as this is.
The cover has the original decal boasting "zum super-sonderpreis 29-dm" and another price label for 40dm from a shop called Plattenville.
Condition: Vinyl/cover = M-/EX (Vinyl has no marks at all, virtually unplayed. Cover has very very slight ringwear, and a crease in the spine, due to the 3LP gatefold nature of the packaging. Corners have slight wear.)
