A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL 1974 UK FIRST PRESSING OF A TREMENDOUS LP - A FINER UK FIRST PRESSING WOULD BE VERY HARD TO LOCATE INDEED - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Although Kraftwerk's first three albums were groundbreaking in their own right, Autobahn is where the group's hypnotic electronic pulse genuinely came into its own.
The main difference between Autobahn and its predecessors is how it develops an insistent, propulsive pulse that makes the repeated rhythms and riffs of the shimmering electronic keyboards and trance-like guitars all the more hypnotizing.
The 22-minute title track, in a severely edited form, became an international hit single and remains the peak of the band's achievements — it encapsulates the band and why they are important within one track — but the rest of the album provides soundscapes equally as intriguing.
Within Autobahn, the roots of electro-funk, ambient, and synth pop are all evident — a truly pioneering album

LABELS: CLEAN and BRIGHT and have NO wear, NO writing and only ONE light spindle trace. THIS COPY HAS CLEARLY SEEN VERY, VERY LIGHT PLAY
VINYL Visual: The vinyl has a DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN and the surfaces are completely UNMARKED. BEAUTIFUL VINYL
VINYL Audio: SUPERB - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY SHARP, RICH and WARM AUDIO. BEAUTIFUL LP. There are NO scratches, NO skips or jumps and NO surface noise (not even during its many quiet sections and run-ins). The record sounds absolutely STUNNING and plays to an extremely high standard with SUPERB AUDIO CLARITY, NO groove-wear and NO distortion (it has hardy been played)
This is an extremely difficult LP to find in such wonderful playing condition as virtually all copies I have heard have either excessive surface noise or continual clicking which the sharp, crisp electronics cannot mask and even though this copy does have a few clicks (4) at the beginning of the title track (caused by one stubborn speck of dust which my cleaning has not removed) it is still the FINEST first pressing I have ever heard and copies really DO NOT COME BETTER THAN THIS. Must be graded MINT(-) even with the speck of dust (which may have possibly been there since new) and IN MY OPINION A BETTER EXAMPLE OF THIS UK FIRST PRESSING I DO NOT THINK YOU WILL FIND. NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page)
In fact, looking back through my records (for the past 4 years) this is only the second copy I have ever offered for sale as all other pressings which have passed through my hands displayed too many of the problems mentioned above. So this really is a rare item in this condition
