Up for grabs an original KRAFTWERK "Autobahn" 12" vinyl LP, 1975 release on Vertigo/Nippon Phonogram Tokyo (6305 231, RJ-7010) flying saucer/op-art logo label (defunct), matrix nos. 6305 231 A/B K111 F/111 H, hard cardboard cover with lyrics (ger/en) backside, Autobahn road sign printed inner, Japan flag/Verboten road sign information insert (jpn), Obi strip, made in Japan, condition cover: Mint, vinyl/labels: pristine Mint (actual pics shown, zoom over).
Originally released 1974, electronic avantgarde rooted in the Romantic era, heralds the rebirth of Germany post-WW2 on a highway trailblazed by Stockhausen, a distant longing for a connected Europe with the iconic flybridge between forest and power-station (old/new music interface set in motion) visionary statement cover picking up German modernism from where it was terminated by Nazism, Conny Plank (archetypal motorik Neu!) produced, the group described by Holger Czukay: "das Prinzip des Klangdesigns auf gegeben" (the group that gave the principle of Sound design), out of print Japan press full of camaraderie undertones, awesome artefact, rare and in such condition.
