Description
This is record 1136 from the KPM Music Library in London. INDUSTRIAL PANORAMA. Most notably, the record includes “Heavy Action” (Johnny Pearson), which went on to great fame with Monday Night Football (they’re still using it). Pearson has six tracks on this album. Keith Mansfield also has six. Also represented: Neil Richardson, John Scott and John Fiddy. This is a library record; it was never sold commercially. I obtained a copy by contacting KPM directly in the mid-80s. The sound and instrumentation of this music is similar to what you hear from the guys who do the music for the NFL Films Music Library – Sam Spence and others. I am also including in this package a copy of the CD “Music For Dancefloors: The Cream Of The KPM Music Green Label Sessions.” More of the same kind of stuff – all instrumentals (although now that I look at it, there is one song with vocals on the CD). You can research that one online if you wish; it includes stuff by Alan Parker, Alan Hawkshaw, John Cameron, James Clarke and others. To hear an audio sample, go to YouTube and search for “NFL Music 20 song clips”. You will hear Heavy Action at the 6:15 mark. This record is in fine condition. It is dated 1974 on the album itself. I am the original owner; I’ve played it maybe 30 times. Item will be shipped via U.S. Priority mail in a special LP mailer (unless the buyer wants to pay extra for a faster form of delivery). There would be a slight extra cost for sending overseas or to Canada. Please look at my other items, as I am moving much of my rare music right now.
