KOSSOFF KIRKE TETSU RABBIT

The only Album from the short-lived band.

Tracks are Side 1. Blue Grass, Sammy's Alright, Anna, Just For The Boy, Hold On.

Side 2. Fool's Life, Yellow House, Dying Fire, I'm On The Run, Colours.

The one and only album from this short-lived band formed by two original members of the fabulous band Free - Paul Kossoff (Lead Guitar) and Simon Kirke (drums), joined by John Bundrick (Rabbit) on Keyboards and Japanese Bass Player Tetsu.

I saw them live at Lancaster University in 1972 and they were brilliant. The band was an interim measure after Free had decided to split and Paul Rodgers, the Free frontman, had gone off to do his own thing and Andy Fraser, the Free bass player, went to become a session man in the States. I think they were eventually going to reform Free, but Paul Kossoff died and then Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke formed Bad Company and the rest is history.   

The vinyl is in very good + condition on each side of the disc. There's a few very faint hairline marks visible when viewed underneath a bright light, but nothing that is detrimental to the play or the quality of sound. It plays fabulous and sounds great. 

The labels on each side are completely clean and undamaged. I can't see any evidence of play around either side of the spindle hole, so I really don't think the record has been played much at all.

The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is in very good condition as well with just a bit of general agewear. Bit of rubbing along the exposed edges and the corners. There's a bit of ringwear starting to show. Most noticeable on the rear side of the cover. The spine is lovely and straight and all the printing shows clearly.

Rare one and only album from Kossoff, Kirke, Tetsu and Rabbit.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
