KOMFO ADU - Nana Akosua '88 (Anokye ROTLP51) - LP - 1988
Tracks: Medowo (Nana Akosua '88), Tamfo / Mesumbo, Obra Ye Oko.
Very nicely presented original pressing of Komfo Adu's Nana Akosua '88 LP, released on the Anokye label in 1988. A highly sought-after example of 1980's Ghanaian Highlife music, the vinyl retains an excellent sheen with just a couple of very light superficial surface marks and one 8mm scratch at the end of the track Medowo - nothing serious - see descriptions below.
Side One: The scratch highlighted above causes a few tiny clicks towards the end of Track 1 plus nine smallish-to-moderate ones during the fade out and gap prior to the start of Track 2. Otherwise there are just a couple of other tiny clicks. Grade - apart from the nine clicks which affect 14 seconds, this side plays at EX+
Side Two: There are just a couple of tiny ticks. Grade - Near Mint
Labels: Both labels are pristine (see scan).
Sleeve: There are a few very light bumps to the edges, a few very light creases / handling marks, plus the remnants of a name written in biro in the top left-hand corner of the front cover (see scan).
