Kleenex 's studio box set, "1977-1983", on 4 vinyl lps, released by Mississippi Records (MR 084LP). 2009?.



Kleenex was Zürich, Switzerland's contribution to the world of female punk. The group started out in 1978 and evolved through numerous personnel changes throughout the next five years, touring with bands such as Spizzenergi, The Raincoats and Gang of Four. Only Klaudia, alternating between guitar and bass, was a constant factor from beginning to end. In 1980, the group changed their name to Liliput (due to pressures from the Kleenex tissue company) and continued under that moniker until their demise in 1983.

Finally the entire contents of the ever-popular Kill Rock Stars double CD is now available as a 4 LP set. Housed in a sturdy tip-on sleeve slipcase and includes a full-color 12-page booklet.



Each disk of the set is in EX or better condition. There are barely any perceptible marks, even under strong light. There are no scratches. There are no stickers or writing on the label.

The box is rated at a EX. The box is opened, but still has the shrink wrap around it. There is no seam splitting, and the corners and edges are sharp. There are no stickers or stray writing.


Record grading is based on Goldmine Grading Standards.
