Here on the auction block now is one of the Dutch Stemra company's release of the 1984 Kiss album "Animalize". This is one of those rare, and numbered limited edition picture discs. (It is numbered on the record itself, no. 976.) All the matrix numbers are on the back, so let me know if you need any of those. This is in very, very good condition. Only a few light surface marks, and no heavy gouges, scratches, or marks. All of the Stemra releases fetch a pretty penny, as they are rare, and only a very limited number of each one was made. Add this to your collection today, as it has been the "one to get". (It doesn't seem to pop here very often.)
The band was going through some serious changes at the time. It was the second record without the makeup, "Lick It Up" being the first. The guitarist who replaced Ace, Vinnie Vincent, had left the band, and was replaced by Mark St. John, who appeared on this record and tour. It also featured Eric Carr, who had replaced drummer Peter Criss, when the album "Music From 'The Elder' " came out. Both band members have died of natural causes, and have been replaced in Kiss, who is still around, and still touring! This record rocks, and the artwork is wild, with animal skins on the cover. A true collector's item!
