Description

Up for auction is a mega rare Kiss - Let Me Go, Rock N' Roll USA blue label Casablanca 45 promo copy NB 823. This was their fourth 45 and a stock copy of this is virtually impossible to find. This is a promo on the Smoking Man label from the Hotter Than Hell lp released in 1974. This copy has never been played and is in mint condition.

KISS’ sophomore effort “Hotter Than Hell” was released on Casablanca records (NBLP 7006) in October 1974. Sales of their first LP “KISS”, released just eight months earlier had pretty much disappointed the band, their management, and the labels brass. According to many inside sources Casablanca’s distribution deal with Warner Brothers was severed over their records were being put on the back burner for pressing and promotion.

There were three singles released for “KISS”, followed by just one for “Hotter than Hell”. The single “Let Me Go Rock And Roll / Hotter Than Hell” (NB 823) was released on October 22, 1974. At that time Casablanca used the Blue Bogart, or smoking man label which is a very rare and hard to find but now here is your chance to own this copy.
