As you can see, this is the incredibly rare EMI test pressing, white label UK example. VERY FEW COPIES EXIST, AND FINDING ONE THESE DAYS IS LIKE FINDING THE 'GRAIL' OF KISS COLECTABLES.

This example has the writing on the one side, and plain white labels , with those amazing 1 G stampers on each side..confirming this is the earliest possible recording of the album ..

Test Presses are not always the same quality as the released vinyls, and this one does have some light crackle in some places..

BUT IT PLAYS WITHOUT JUMPS OR STICKS..AND SOUNDS FANTASTIC

This HEAVYWEIGHT pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings.

We can see A FEW spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There are a few light whisp lines, a few light hairliens and thats it-  nothing else!  No scratches or marks.  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION. EASILY THE BEST WHITE LABEL RECORD WE HAVE SEEN!

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

RARE PROTOTYPE SLEEVE WITHOUT THE EMBOSSING ON THE LOGOS..FLAT SLEEVE (Not tabbed or glued or joined together)

 THESE 'TEST TYPE' SLEEVES ARE LEFT FLAT, UNGLUED  AND BEYOND RARE!

There is some wear and fraying around the edges, and being a flat sleeve it has suffered some light shelf and storage wear.. Some old tape marks have been removed where at one point the sleeve was stuck together..and a couple of blacked out marks on the top right.. Noted for the fact there are no KISS EMBOSSED logos around the edges, like the finished sleeve

This really is one of a handful that exist.

So for something so rare, despite some general wear to it... its great just to see it at all..and overall we think this is a cracking item to add to the amazing vinyl.
