HERE'S a lovely copy of Kinda Kinks by those well respected Kinks on original UK mono Pye from 1965. The front-laminated 'patents pending' Garrod & Lofthouse single flipback sleeve is a very well preserved VG+ example - a good strong sleeve with fine undamaged flipbacks, no sticker damage, no unwanted writing and nothing nasty lurking inside the opening edges and just a little light creasing here and there, indentations in the laminate and a little cornerwear. Both textured pink Pye labels are in lovely EX condition with no writing, rips or sticker damage, and only light traces of spindle marks, indicating infrequent play over the years. Both sides of the disc with earliest A1/B1 matrices look VG with just light surface and sleeve removal/scuff/nail marks to be seen when examined under strong halogen lighting - there are no nasty deep feelable scratches. Kinda Kinks is far from their best album but there are ten original songs here (out of 12), which was an impressive total for the time, including Tired of Waiting |For You, but all of this you already know, of course!
