On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Kinks called 'Face To Face' and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Pye label!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS PRESSED IN MEGA RARE STEREO!!!! BACK IN 1966 BARELY ANY 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER PRESSED IN MEGA RARE STEREO WITH THE VAST MAJORITY BEING PRESSED IN THE FAR MORE COMMON MONO. AND THAT MEANS TODAY IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A STEREO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP!!!! IMPORTANTLY THIS LP STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS 'STICKERED' COVER - WITH THE 'STEREO NSPL' STICKER ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1966 UK 1ST STEREO PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS STEREO PYE LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'STICKERED' FLIPBACK 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' PATENTS PENDING COVER!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN MEGA RARE STEREO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the original Pye UK Stereo 1st pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on MEGA THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is NSPL 18149 on the 1st Press Pink Pye label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Kinks at their best!!!! Any fan of The Kinks, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO scratches, only a VERY few light hairlines, 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, 1 scuff mark (NON sounding), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with only a VERY few light clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and only some VERY slight MEGA low level background crackle on the run on grooves and occassional gap - NOT in the music!!!! There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'Stickered' Garrod & Lofthouse Flipback 'Patents Pending' 1st Press STEREO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The cover has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO yellowing (apart from a VERY slight touch to the flipbacks)!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS ONE OF THE KINKS RAREST AND MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPS IN MEGA RARE STEREO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
