1974/UK/Island ILPS 9275…..here’s a gorgeous original UK pressing of this rare lp. The laminated cover is in Excellent condition with just a bit of minor light wear, solid and clean with no splits. The vinyl is in shiny excellent condition with very few very light sleeve scuffs and hairlines, there is a bit of light passive noise here and there, nothing disturbing to detract from the listening pleasure and plays with Excellent fidelity! The labels are clean and show only a few very light spindle marks. A very nice original UK pressing for your collection! The record faltered on the British charts. In the United States, it reached #66 on the Billboard Top 200. However, it remained a popular album with fans and critics. In 2001 Q magazine named Red as one of the "50 Heaviest Albums of All Time,  and Kurt Cobain has cited the album as a major influence. Musicologists Eric Tamm and Edward Macan both consider Red, and particularly the track "Starless", to be the highlight of King Crimson's recorded output. Users of Rate Your Music.com have rated it the Number 1 album of 1974, and 49th greatest album of all time.

MINT: as stated with no defects

NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.
