KING CRIMSON - ISLANDS White Label Promo Hype Sticker RARER MONARCH Press NM- LP

Please note: This is a brand new account because I have been commissioned to sell a large collection of records that once belonged a DJ in Santa Barbara, CA (more about him below) and the collection belongs to DodgerBob. The lack of feedback is due to this, but I have been selling for years under my account which is: nowhere.man where I have a 100% positive feedback score with 326 transactions and tons of great seller reviews. If you have any questions or concerns, you may look up my other account at nowhere.man and read through them and/or message me there until we build the same customer satisfaction as I have done there.

There are many, many incredible promotional copies mainly from the late 60’s through the 70’s being listed now and for some time to come...please follow us and check out our other listings- we of course offer combined shipping on multiple purchases...we will simply add $1 USD per additional album.

Sleeve: NM-

CRISP gatefold sleeve is in incredible condition! Green titles hype sticker and promotional sticker affixed to front both in wonderful condition. Sleeve remains remarkably free of dirt though there is very light wear evident and one small brown discoloration on rear..”From the collection of Bob Senn” stamped on upper right of rear. (see pics) Perfectly legible spine and no seam splits.

Disc: NM-

GORGEOUS original glossy sheen on disc...no scratches and only the faintest superficial wispy sleeve removal traces & factory “spotting” visible when tilted under bright light. There is one long extremely light superficial scuff that is so light, it disappears when tilted and is only visible under direct light. This is is the only mark that brings the “minus” to the “near mint” grade. A play check can be requested but in my experience, I have absolutely no reason to think this would cause any audio issues whatsoever. I have included a photo of the area so you can see for yourself.

Labels: NM

BEAUTIFUL Monarch pressing white label promo labels have PROMOTION COPY ONLY NOT FOR SALE text. No unwanted writing or marks. No evidence of play.

Original generic inner is included and unsplit.

This copy is from the collection of Bob Senn - a renowned Santa Barbara, California DJ and program director for KTMS FM “The Rock on the Coast”. When Mr. Senn passed, his collection was acquired by my friend who has commissioned me to help sell them. There are thousands of records in the collection, almost all promotional copies in mint or close to mint condition.

Grading System:

SS (Still Sealed)

Unopened records, still in original shrink wrap. In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e. evidence of mildew or bent corners, etc.)

M (Mint)

The record and sleeve are in perfect, original condition. The record may have been played but will have no evidence of deterioration. (I will only use this grade on SEALED records that appear to be Mint as I believe any non-new, opened record cannot be truly called MINT.

NM (Near Mint)

A nearly perfect record. Any visible defects are of the type that "disappear" when the record is tilted under a strong light and they should not affect play. Sleeves in near mint condition will have no obvious signs of wear. Practically imperceptible ring wear may be allowed but no creases, seam-splits, or other easily detected flaws will be present.

EX (Excellent)

A very clean record. Near mint except for slight, superficial signs of wear. Sleeves in this condition may have marginal defects, but will not have significant creases or splits.

VG+ (Very Good Plus)

A well-cared-for record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but should not be split.

VG (Very Good)

A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy.

G (Good)

A well-worn record that is still playable. Good does not necessarily mean "bad" but a record in this condition will have audible distractions and may have visible groove wear. Sleeves may have all manner of defects, but are still intact.

FA (Fair) and P (Poor)

These grades are for beat-up records. I will only sell records in these grades if they are extremely rare and sought-after.
