On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by King Crimson called "In The Court Of The Crimson King" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK pressing on the PINK I LOGO!!! BUT THIS LP IS ESPECIALLY RARE!!!!! Most 1st Pressings either have matrixes ending in 'A2' & 'B3' or 'A2' & 'B4'. The earliest matrixes were the 'A2' & 'B3' and were pressed for a VERY short while and are VERY hard to find. The most common matrix endings by far are the 'A2' & 'B4' and these are on 90% of the 1st pressings. Basically King Crimson where not happy with the master tape on side 2 ('B3') and wanted it changed. This was why it was changed to a 'B4' with a slightly different sound. HOWEVER THIS IS WHERE THE MISTAKE AND THE RARITY HAPPENED. For only a VERY VERY few days from only 1 factory they changed the WRONG side - and this is one of those pressings - it is THE RARER SET OF MATRIXES OF ALL the 'A3' 'B3' matrixes where Side 1 master tape was changed by mistake instead of Side 2!!!! Of course as soon as the mistake was noticed it was immediately changed back to 'A2','B4'. SO THIS IS THE RAREST EVER SET OF MATRIXES ON A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING OF KING CRIMSON AND THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE ILPS 9111 A//3 & ILPS 9111 B//3!!!! IT HAS THE RAREST A SIDE MIX, AND THE RAREST B SIDE MIX!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK ISLAND PRESSING 1969 Stereo pressing, and is in STUNNING condition!!!! This LP is VERY hard to find these days AT ALL - let alone in decent condition!!!! The record is pressed on VERY thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILPS 9111 on the ORIGINAL Pink i Logo Island label (see picture) and is a Stereo pressing!!!! It is very VERY rare to find any ORIGINAL copies of this LP. They rarely, if ever turn up at all - let alone in this STUNNING condition!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality King Crimson at their best!!!! Any fan of King Crimson, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!! The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in brilliant condition for its age. Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, and NO hairlines but it does have some VERY light paper scuffing only visible under light, and a couple of TINY marks which only cause 2/3 clicks. The rest of LP is CRACKLE FREE (very rare on this LP) and plays STUNNINGLY!!!! It plays with NO distortion, NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO crackle!!!! This is how I FOUND the record, and I have NOT used any nasty chemicals, or buffing machines to make it look better - it GENIUNELY is this STUNNING!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good++!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its original inner!!!! The Cover is in STUNNING condition with NO edgewear, NO splits, NO corner wear, NO spinal wear, NO creases and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is RAZOR straight with NO feathering!!!! There is also NO ringwear AT ALL and NO digs or bends!!!! The cover must grade MINT(Minus)!!!! HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE LP by King Crimson in this sort of condition!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL COPY OF "IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING" BY KING CRIMSON, IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!
