'OUT OF URANUS'
on the original UK PENNY FARTHING RECORDS PELS.511 in STEREO.
What a great band THIS was!
Comparatively undiscovered really, they recorded two blistering hot LP's in the late 1960's, loaded with everything good about early progressive psych, then dispersed. Lou Martin went on to join Rory Gallagher, and I don't know if there's any Rory association before that - but no matter here, because they certainly had their own thing going on.
FABULOUS guitar shredding throughout, and this just goes on from where the excellent first album left off.
A suitably psychedelic cover for the period too, but nothing could get this album noticed. Like 'The Open Mind' (Philips) or 'July' (Major-Minor) albums, there was neither enough 'buzz' at the time to gather attention, nor any airplay offered to these kinds of groups.
So they sank without trace, only to resurrect as loudly-proclaimed lost rarities now!
You might be able to find them now on CD, but few scarce remaining originals on vinyl - it's why we use eBay to track these lovely collectibles down!
The VINYL is ASTOUNDING NM condition.The vinyl is visually and playing, practically as new, with FULL shine!
The lables are nice, clear and bright.
The cool psychedelic artwork single-sleeve COVER is solid EX, VERY little light wear, only. I have looked after this with care for many years - so you would expect to buy it NEW in this kind of condition.
