under a bright 100 watt desk lamp vinyl has several very light hairlines and ultra light scuffs on each side-still a very nice
copy-some would grade 'EX' I will stay conservative and call it 'VG+' Most of the vinyl surface is glossy shiny just a couple of small areas of loss of gloss-the playback is amazing! it plays excellent there is nearly no surface noise and only at very rare times where music goes quiet but a beautiful play copy plays clear clean and loud


-original garrod and lofthouse GATEFOLD COVER has a sticker removal area on front cover that looks like its been 'touched in' or fixed with a pen ( front
cover top right hand corner 4.5 x 2.5 cm area ) this has been done reasonably well ( see photo )-apart from this issue the cover is quite
nice all seams are intact only some medium 'rubbing' to seams -spine has a couple of light scuffs cardboard areas exposed they are not too distracting and overall a very nice spine with some light wear-
inside gatefold cover is excellent-back cover nothing to report except a tiny tiny scuff on back which has exposed a tiny 1mm x 1mm bit of  
cardboard-there is NO writing anywhere on record or cover-

labels are clean and if there are spindle traces im having trouble seeing

them,,the matrix numbers are STAMPED and confirm an already obvious original uk pressing and are as follows side 1 ' PELS 511 1Y // 2 ''triangle''

420 11 3 ' AND SIDE 2 ' PELS 511 2Y // 2 ''triangle'' 420 111 ' this makes it an obvious original uk pressing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

there is still some 'flashing' in the spindle hole on one side ,,doesnt seem to have the original inner sleeve,,,overall a very nice copy with

a overall excellent cover with just a sticker removal repair which doesnt look too bad ( see photo ) and a reasonable vg+ visual grading

of vinyl and it plays excellent! great play copy ! ,,original uk copies of this record are getting scarcer and scarcer and for good reason its

40 years old!,,easily in the top 5 album cover designs of ALL time,,this record was listed in the 2007 'RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE' as

being in the 'top 100 most collectable prog records' and i would agree with that,
