Disco Bahar (=Disco SPRING!!) is the title of this album, and it's a complete Bizarre Bazar of freaked out samples. It contains Disco hits from 10 Disco films, some of them very hard to or even impossible to find on the original LP like the ultra mad and ultra rare Burman track "Mein Tu Ban Gaya". (first track from first sample)
Genius ripping is the Indian trademark, be it Latin, French Accordion, Funk or Disco. These guys know how to do it and delight us with their insanity. So there is Burman's War of the World's version of ROCKY (The Original you hate!! But you'll love Burman's version!). And there is some of the-forever-famous-in-India- Boney-M now and then. Contains 3 Bappi Lahiri tracks, 3 R.D. Burman tracks, and 4 by other guys. Also the full DO USTAD track by bappi is there, sung by Usha Uthup (=Usha Iyer). She sings: ‘Love is God……God is Love…………… Love Love Love’. Massive bleeps all over the place. (third sample) Also the crude DISCO STATION of Haathkadi, man!
Beware for the intro's, breaks & intermezzo's! They show you every corner of the Disco (and, yes) even the Cha Cha Cha room! I made a compilation of some of the most outreageous samples. Good sound quality too! The samples I've kept low because the're long. Enjoy!
